What if the corners were filled in - not with seats but some lightweight structure?
Some heavy tarp-like material (royal blue of course) stretched between the gaps in all four corners. Or whatever.
This would:
(a) Have a huge effect on the acoustics.
(b) Improve the stadium's overall appeal aesthetically.
(c) Reduce the effect of wind in the stadium.
No charge for this idea.
Just don't put advertising crap on that.
