Elon said he realized that it was cheaper to buy Twitter than try and create a competitor. Twitter has such a huge lead
on all competitors.
People who went to Threads realized their view counts dropped materially. The question for them is will they ever find the same reach on Threads as they had on Twitter. (so far it seems the answer is no).
It's the same thing for Rumble (just opposite political parties). Right leaning Youtubers want to leave Youtube, but they just don't get the same views on Rumble.
