Had a salesman co-worker who could NOT understand the difference. His written communication with our team was embarrassing. Didn't matter whether he meant to say sale or sell, he ALWAYS got it wrong. You'd think if he was just flipping a coin, he'd be right about half the time, but he was always wrong.

He's moved on and no longer works with us, so I'd kind of forgotten how much it bothered me until now.
