As a kid I used to always watch Disney’s The Great Mouse Detective.

The other day I wanted to introduce it to my two youngest kids. There is a bar scene where this is a striptease dance with very racy lyrics including the lady mouse saying she is “going to take off all her clothes” and the mice in the audience are cat calling.

As a kid, that scene flew right over my head, but I couldn’t believe it when I was watching it with my kids. I fast forwarded through it. But what the crap?!😂 How in the world did that scene seem like a good idea to writers back then??
