I think Bronco and Kyle are essentially on par as far as successful coaches, and BYU fans would have similar feelings about Kyle as they do about Bronco.

Neither are nor would be in the same stratosphere as Lavell in the hearts and minds of BYU fans.

What gives Kyle a bit more mileage, as has been stated above in this thread, is the Holy War win streak.

Also, Utah fans overestimate Kyle's value as HC because they don't have a legend with whom to compare.
