I was at a deposition today where two attorneys discussed a young attorney who had worked at both firms and refused to show up most days and do much of anything. He only has jobs because law firms can't find anyone halfway competent.
I blame the changing student bodies at law school from 30 years ago, and the changing teaching methods. Most young attorneys can't handle being asked a question or being forced to defend their positions.
