Then they hired Funk. Bad hires happen, but then they waited 1 year too long and Oline performance and recruiting suffered as a result. Luckily with the transfer portal and lax rules, those things are a lot easier to fix but we lost some good recruits saved transfers and overall performance fell off a cliff in the meantime (a crime that talented OL Kingsley and Freeland had such a poor coach)

I’m no KW fan but he would’ve seen the mistake and fixed it at most after a year but maybe even before that.
