Florida State went 13-0 and finished #5 and missed the playoffs
A conference brings better SOS and a CCG (with now automatic access to playoffs unless 2 G5 champs get in)
If you don't win the CCG, we are in the same atLarge position as Indy gave us.
But let's be real. . . BYU never played in a NY6 game because we just didn't play well enough to earn it. . . We wouldn't have got in playing in the MWC. If a conference was really that important. . . Notre Dame would join the Big10
