2 Pac 12 championships were better than the BCS years even with the loses using a similar argument. It's silly. Going undefeated in '84 was very difficult, and getting the AP ranking of #1 was based on the previous year, maybe years, as well. It was before my time but I think it's a huge mistake to under rate it and it's bad recently bias.

Now if we win out and are 16-0 that would be more impressive than 84. Winning all those big games and matchups. But if we pull a TCU, lose the CCG then win one playoff game, '84 still wins out.
