I've been a fan of BYU to an unhealthy degree since 1982 and I have never seen a season like this one.
I've been carefully conditioned to expect a bitter loss to SMU, a defensive meltdown against Baylor. A beatdown by K-State. A complete humiliation by OSU followed up with a drubbing by UCF in Orlando. Then of course, the inevitable choke job against the yewts, with humiliation in Rice Eccles.
None of those things have happened. It's like 1984 except BYU is playing MUCH better teams.
