We don't have to beat Colorado as 2 teams make the Conference Championship. What buffer
are you looking for? If we lose once we are in the CCG and co regular season champions of the league at worst (the Champion of the league is crowned in the conference championship game).
Conversely if CU wins out and gets to about 12 in the rankings then even if they beat us there is zero shot we won't make the playoffs if that is our only loss.
