they were good. One of my first football memories was BYU versus Colorado and Eric Bieniemy in the 1988 freedom bowl. Was so excited byu won. I was 11.

I remember Darian Hagan took over as the starting quarterback in 1989 after Aunese died from cancer. Hagan became a star in 1989 and was the starting quarterback for the 1990 national championship team. (I remember seeing the flag thrown against Notre Dame's rocket Ismail. That was fun.)

I remember Cordell Stewart hitting Westbrook on the Hail Mary to beat michigan.

I remember Rashaan Salaam winning the Heisman trophy. Sadly he died from suicide in 2017.

But I was always BYU 100%.

Then as we all know, Colorado's program fell apart for a long time.

I say all that, to say this. It would be pretty fun for me to have BYU versus Colorado in the Big 12 championship game. The child in me would love it.

I think it would look cool visually as well because I think most of Colorado's uniform and helmet combinations look amazing. Most of ours do as well.
