of NIL much better than the U. He seemed to believe the U has created some hard feelings and toxicity by the way they pay for players relative to Kalani’s approach.
Does that ring true to anyone or sound real or more like just speculation from a big U fan in a down year?
I know I have been at events with Kalani (like fathers and sons camp) where it sounded like he mostly wanted money for the full team rather than individual players, but wasn’t sure if that is really how things go down in this crazy new world.
Regardless it feels like the team chemistry at BYU is awesome, but winning can do that. Sure hope it is a smarter, better formula whatever we are doing. And conversely would be great if the U is messing things up. It is a new variable in the equation.
