Just watched "locked on Utes. I was curious what their take on the controversy
would be. Their response was very reasonable. A few things I would/could argue against, but generally very measured, reasonable, and telling fans the facts. Well, done.
Specifically, they said that it was hold. Maybe an argument could be made that it shouldn't have been called, but it was a hold. They said, Harlan was wrong for everything he did. They said Robinson didn't hurt Kuithe on purpose. They said that they lost the game because Utes play "not to lose" rather than playing to win.
They claimed the hold on their oline in the fourth quarter was bad, and it should have been a first down. This was the one area I thought they were a little biased. First, it wasn't a first down, it would have been 4th and 1. Also, it was a hold, and they admit his hand was in the "wrong" place, but for some reason it shouldn't have been called.
Anyway, they earned more respect for their pretty fair take.
