If Utah does fire Harlan, Whitt retires and the new AD tells Scalley to pound sand, what does that do to Utah FB?
How far back does that set them in the near future? Recruits and players would bail pretty quickly, wouldn't they?
I tend to think that a new AD would give Scalley the job in an attempt to maintain continuity, but put him on a short leash while looking for a longer-term replacement.
