ASU over Kansas State this weekend to help them break into the top 25 so they are ranked once we play them.
Kansas State would likely fall out of the top 25 but could bounce back in with a win vs. Iowa State. Besides the benefit of beating a ranked ASU team on the road, ASU might be able to sneak back into the top 25 by the end of the year after beating Arizona.
It's probably a stretch, but by the end of the season, BYU could have ranked wins vs. SMU, KSU, Colorado, and ASU. Again, I assume we'll only have three, SMU + two B12 teams, but you never know. I think the committee will find 3 and 4 loss B10 and SEC teams to fill out the 20-25 spots of the rankings.
Since we don't play ISU in the regular season and likely not in the B12 CCG, they can lose the remainder of their games for all I care. Their ranking only matters if we play them in the CCG.
