This. I know Oregon is that way and I think most people assume the min wage exception is still in place.
I would not be surprised if many servers are making $30-35/hr including the tips.

Many states & cities prohibit lowering the minimum wage for tipped employees.

Alaska too. Voters just raised the min wage to $15, no exceptions.
