BYU guard Egor Demin shared Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors after averaging 19.0 points, 9.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game last week. Demin was just the second freshman in Big 12 history to finish with 10+ points and 10+ assists in his collegiate debut.

#BYU basketball freshman Egor Demin was named Co-Big 12 Newcomer of the Week along with Zeke Mayo from Kansas.

Demin is the first BYU Men's Basketball player to receive a weekly Big 12 award.
