I think, all things being equal, they want to go back to the PAC-12
They don't care that it would include Boise State, Utah State, and SDSU — though they would hope the Arizona schools would join them. What they do care about is that they wouldn't get Big 12 money if they move, and the admin knows that they can't survive as a power school on the new PACs money. If it wasn't for the money, I think they'd be actively be fighting to leave.
