At the time Jamie Pollard, ISU AD, received his reprimand and $25,000 fine from the Big 12 in 2014, he and two others held the record for the biggest fine in Big 12 history. Ten years later, Utah AD, Mark (Jack-A**) Harlan, proved what a complete moron he is by criticizing the referees calling the BYU game as well as the benevolent conference that rescued his pathetic university from the sinking ship known formerly as the PAC 12 conference.
For his trouble, Harlan, who strode onto the field while the final play of the game was still in progress, was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct and was later fined $40,000 for his laughable outburst during the losing coach's remarks. Can't say I've ever heard of an AD getting a penalty while a game was in progress. So stupid and lacking in self-awareness.
So that's the example you want to set for your students, faculty, and administration? If you aren't happy with a particular outcome, berate the officials and accuse them of "stealing the game?" What a pathetic little man! I'm reminded that the true character of a man or woman is best determined when things aren't going your way, not the other way around. Marky-Mark might need to take a sabbatical to get his mind right.
