Like, it was hilarious. The adult utes would cluster together and whisper their conspiracies before and between meetings, but had the mental and social fortitude to clam up, shake hands and not say anything to known cougars. I didn't go out of my way to bring it up. Just nodded and said, "good morning!"
HOWEVER, the utes-in-training in the deacons quorum revealed the truth as they parroted back what they had CERTAINLY been hearing the past 12 hours from their parent(s):
"We were robbed!"
"The big12 sucks and has had it out for Utah from the beginning."
"There was no hold."
"BYU was trying to injure our players all night."
"The ref only threw the flag after the play was over."
"The BYU players were encouraging ByU fans to throw trash on the field."
"I can't believe the church supports such dirty players. They clearly let them do whatever they want. Look at their hair and tattoos...don't represent the church."
"In BYUs best year ever and Utahs worst year ever, they needed help from the refs."
"ByU has NEVER had a dominant win against Utah."
And my favorite:
"My dad knows Kyle Whittingham. He's going to call him and tell him we need to just go straight to the BIG10, even if we have to give up money."
Poor kids...it's going to be a rough next 8 years.
