--We helped resuscitate a Ute fan walking into the stadium who collapsed and was found down in the parking lot. Super scary, he was ok.
--There were 12 in our group that drove together. We sat in 5 different locations. All 5 groups had similar experiences. Most fans were gracious...but there were several Ute fans in each section who were WAY over the line with their behavior. This nonsense has gotta stop. Unfortunately, the leadership at the University does nothing to help this. Harlan promotes this kind of stuff with his behavior afterward.
--From my POV it was an absolute hold...I saw the flag thrown real time because that was where my focus was. It was literally so satisfying to know the Utes celebrating we about to be demoralized. The stadium knew after that call BYU was going to win!
-- RES wasn't as loud as I thought it was going to be. LES is a far superior game-day experience. ROC >>>>>> MUSS
-- Proud of the Defense....it was clear the D came out second half amped, focused and on point. It was clear we figured them out at half and could tell by their body language they were not giving up points in the second half.
--We have some swagger guys/Leadership on this team that we have lacked in the past. Glasker/Lassiter/Roberts/Kelly/Ettienne/Retzlaf/Bagnah were ones I noticed that don't give an inch and aren't intimidated by the Ute players. I'm not sure this is always true in the last 15 years.
-- Jake had a tough game...Chase/WR were open several times over the middle of the field and Jake just didn't see him. OL/RB blocking in Jake's defense was not great, We missed Pay this game. To Jake's credit he had no turnovers...phew on a couple of the fumbles.
-- Watching the Ute fans get an emotional kick to the crotch after enduring a verbal onslaught of filth all game so indescribably delicious!!!!!! All of us were giddy and celebrated high-fived/laughed the entire car ride home.
Go COUGS!!!!!! Is the CUT out yet?
