Did any of these national writers actually watch the game? Preston Stone only had two offensive drives, and by the second quarter it was clear Jennings would be in for the rest of the game. They still only ended up with 144 total passing yards. I understand that SMU did not have Jennings as their ANNOUNCED starter until after they played BYU, but he still played the majority of the game against us and if anything that makes our performance against him more impressive since our defense had to prepare for both QBs. I just don't think we're getting enough credit for that win given what SMU has done since.
