Overall, they moved & shot the ball quite a bit better than us, but from what I can see — like we discovered last season AFTER we finally took SJ off of Man-bun: if you can find a guy who can stick to Mabe, it does more than cool him off. You significantly demoralize their whole offense. That'll certainly be more so the case this year now that they don't have Carlson's scoring.

I trust Richie will do that again for us in our matchup with them — but that we'll see it much earlier in the game than we did last season. Actually, it was both Richie & Jax who cooled off Mabe last season in the 2nd half of our matchup. I think we can expect Mr Catchings fill in admirably for our lost soul.

One significant flip-of-the-script from last season: the yewts WON'T be the team that gets to — & protects — the rim more easily this year. Though this isn't the heart of the matter: What ever happened to that tank of an African guy the yewts had in the interior last season? Seems to me like he'd help them out a lot at rim.

Well, at least last night, Central Arkansas certainly helped that yewts out at the rim more than a little.
