We pretty much know what the Yewt's ceiling is as a power conference team over the past 12 years (potential conference champ of a middling to bad power conference, major bowl loser vs. legitimate blue blood programs not named USC or Oregon) and how that has played out as a competitive advantage for them against us during the rivalry since 2011.

We don't know what our ceiling is as a power conference team in the rivalry equation — yet. And it may take a decade or so for that narrative to play out.
