I am seeing a lot of UU fans I know in SLC who have just listed their tickets to see if they can get face value for them. If no one buys the tickets, they might just skip the game. But they all have mentioned that they know that BYU fans are looking to buy and they do not want to sell to BYU fans at a huge discount. They would rather just eat the $150 or whatever than give them to a BYU fan and make $30.
I do not know if this will be like a true market of supply and demand, since there is a certain point where UU fans see some value in just holding on to tickets they are not going to use. I know that if I was in their situation, I would rather my ticket go unsold than sell to some UU fan for $20 just to recoup a fraction of my costs.
