I think those two opposing principles are always in play to some extent, but
the slider can be moved back and forth between them depending on the specifics of a particular matchup.

To me, the slider here should be moved in the direction of making their inexperienced QB make mistakes. I think when you put him under pressure and he doesn't know where its coming from, the odds of him making a mistake go up and the chances that he hits a lucky home run go down. They of course don't go to zero, so he might get lucky here and there. But hopefully those are offset by his mistakes and our ability to capitalize on them.
