The Utes have young, inexperienced QB’s, so I think they will try to pound the ball with their running backs. I’m guessing they will go some with Micah Bernard in the wildcat to get more blocking. This will be a big challenge for the BYU defensive line. How the Y Dline plays could determine a win or a loss.
I’ve watched the Utes play several times. My opinion is that they still play good defense, but maybe not quite as good as previous years. Maybe it’s just me, but their DB’s have looked vulnerable sometimes. BYU has to try to run, but throwing may be more effective. Turnovers for either team could be killers.
If it comes down to a field goal I think BYU has the better kicker. I think that this will be a low scoring tough defensive battle. Something like 24-20 with BYU winning. Go Cougs!!!
