actually if we lose the discussion is infinitely more important. because you have
SEC teams with multiple bad losses that will make it cause they’re in the SEC. BYU could have 1 loss, better than any of a 3 loss SEC team, and have the 2 best wins, and be left out. that is why the bias is so ridiculous. it’s not about who the best teams are, it’s about who brings in the most money.
