College football is a business aimed at making money. It's always been this way. The committee will protect the big schools and conferences in every way they can. They want a "Dodgers vs. Yankees" final rather than a "Diamondbacks vs. Rangers" series that no one watches.

We've known that the powers that be have always had bias. Someimes we're a victim of that bias, but we have also faltered in the past, just as they've predicted. The way to get respect is by winning and doing it consistently.

Win the Big12. Win a playoff game or semi-final. Beat the big boys at their game and the narrative changes. In the end, rankings don't matter if you win.

We wished for higher ranking to give credibility to our team. However, these boys know they're for real and the table is set up for them. It's never looked better.
