McElroy hit it right on the head that BYU should have every right to feel slighted. We have two of the best wins over top 25 teams and we’re undefeated. At the very least, we should be number six or seven. But five spots behind Miami is just criminal.

And to his point, it doesn’t leave a lot of margin for error. If we were at six or seven, we could lose once and still potentially be a top four finalist by winning out. Not now. We basically have to win the conference championship just to qualify.
