Neither attended either school. They like good football and go to good games—Packers, Chiefs, Raiders, UT, BYU, UU, ASU, UofA, etc. They’ve been to bowl games in support of both BYU and UU in the past. Because they’re not devoted fans to a single team, they find their reasons for rooting for any particular team that year. This year they’re rooting for BYU due to a couple of connections and their quality of gameplay.

Additionally, they like to mildly offend others on matters that they don’t view as important and then watch their reaction. Sometimes it hits right and sometimes it’s tasteless. A simple example would be that they love to go early to church to sit in a pew that is almost always occupied by the same families or individuals just to see their responses. It’s little things like this that cracks them up, and they’ll always go and smooth things over afterwards by speaking with the individual they intentionally miffed. If BYU loses, they plan on switching colors to witness surrounding Utah fans’ reactions as a joke.

I’ll be curious to hear whether they actually go through with their plan, but I don’t believe they’ll actually wear the rain ponchos unless they sense a toxic group of fans surrounding them. They’ve dealt with beer and food being poured in them before at a Raiders-Broncos game. In this game, they’ll be sitting in an Utah section with their BYU blue, so truth be told, they’re going prepared. I more mentioned the ponchos as TIC.

Anyways, I’ve personal only had one team throughout my life—that’s been the BYU Cougars—and it feels so good to enjoy this incredible run. Go Cougs!
