I enjoy KY's style but I also liked Pope's energy. No reason to denigrate Pope
because KY may suit your style more.
Pope came along at the right time, and made it cool for non-LDS players to play for BYU, identified the need for a good collective, and moved the needle on coaching salaries. Without Pope, there would be no KY at this time.
