I think the UNLV fan is correct. Staton is not a polished player. His high ranking is a result of his athleticism and "potential."
My understanding is BYU and him, if BYU is where he chooses, are expecting him to be at BYU multiple years. He is not a player that will be a go to type of player until at least his SO year and that is with significant improvement in his offensive game. But supposedly that is exactly the wheelhouse of this new staff-developing NBA bodies into NBA players.
