I have used etcher on hundreds of ISO to USB. Likely a corrupt iso file or some
other thing like that. I've used etcher for regular ubuntu, redhat, suse, raspberry pi linux, and more.
If etcher isn't working, it is more likely a proble of the ISO, the flash drive, or some other weird OS protection crap.

Etcher is the best and easiest way. If it isn't working, it's probably not because of etcher.

I just deleted and reinstalled Etcher, works now.
