I think the committee would have a hard time justifying a two-loss

Big XII 3rd place finisher (Colorado) to a 1-loss plus Big XII runner up loss (2 loss total) Big XIII runner up who also beat the team that gave Colorado their only big XII loss. I think Iowa state is still ahead of Colorado in the pecking order in that scenario rather than punishing Iowa state for playing in the CCG.
