I fully agree that some of the 1 loss teams should be ranked ahead of BYU, weighing who they lost to and who they have beaten (Texas, GA)
How the committee ranks, BYU, Miami, and Indiana will tell us everything we want to know about whether the committee is serious about accuracy.
BYU has a better strength of schedule than Miami and a DRAMATICALLY better one than Indiana
Wil the committee, who is comprised of a surprisingly limited amount of SEC and B1G connected folks, be serious about assessing these teams properly? Or, will corruption reign?
That will lead me to ask: why would those people, who should be the checks and balances in the room, cave to bias?
- The SEC and B1G are the intimating mob boss's in the room... the loud minority.
- The non SEC/B1G folks want to appease the SEC and B1G so they can get a gig with them in the future... essentially glad handing future potential employers.
- Money under the table
