I am 1/4 Jewish by lineage confirmed by DNA. I have never had that as part of

my identity. My grandfather never really practiced it - although some of his older sisters did - and became a Christian at some point in his early adult years.

I am proud of my heritage, but to claim it as part of my living identity would be potentially insulting to true, practicing Jews, IMO.
