You manage the plan through the BYU Cell Phones website, where you can add an international plan for the dates you need
but you do have to request international coverage in advance for the dates you will be traveling.
I think you can do a flat rate per day that is about $3 per day charged for the whole period, or you can mirror your domestic plan for $5 per day only charged on the days you use it.
