Well yeah. But if we just get to pick what happens, it doesn’t matter who we
play in CCG because I want us to win it and then win both playoff games.
But in a world where there are no guarantees, I want to maximize the probability that we win the conference, and that requires finishing top 2 in the regular season. Losses to Iowa st, Kansas St, Colorado, etc. make that more likely.
