someone or something, the happier they will be. Scalley had a lot of hate toward BYU or the players or the fans or something related to BYU when he made those pre-game comments. I think he apologized back then because the video got out. He didn't apologize for hate he expressed, he seemed to apologize for the word he used (even though it wasn't a swear word).

I hope by now that he has matured to the point where he no longer has the high level of hate that he expressed back then. He is in a difficult spot as he is with Whitt a lot, and representing that fanbase, to not hang on to some hate.
