While there are hundreds of members, there are two conferences which contain about 6 teams that run the NCAA. I have been following college football for many decades. NIL was forced on these 6 schools by a judge. They are desperately looking for solutions and not finding any... yet.

The democratization of college football is the last thing they want and while NIL not that, it is a crack that they desperately need to patch, or the unworthy schools with rich alumni will topple their world.
