BYU fans all stuck around to say goodbye to LaVell. Ute fans had bailed. Everyone congregated down toward the southwest corner of RES and the BYU chant rang out. LaVell took of his hat and waved at the crowd as he approached everyone before turning to go into the lockerroom.

Pretty amazing moment. Glad I got to be there.
