In passes from time to time to keep our D honest. I wouldn’t be surprised if their first play on O will be a pass to prove that they’re not solely relying on the run game. They will plan on holding onto the ball and burning clock. Bernard and Kuithe are their best play makers.

Their defense is better than OKst. They will disguise blitzes and try to rush Jake. When ARod substitutes he better do it at the start of the play clock. Utah will do their dumb slow jog off the field to sub. Plan on lots of quick slants/screens. Jake will need to play smart with where he goes with the ball. OL will have their work cut out for them giving Jake time. Best players on their D are Barton and Fillinger.

If we can get ahead early they’ll make mistakes trying to rush their offense and rely more on the pass. It will also silence their fans.

We haven’t been able to say this in decades but this is Utahs Super Bowl/championship this year. Their team isn’t very good. We’re better in almost every position but to think Utah will lay down and let us impose our will on them just isn’t true. They have good coaches and they’ll be ready to kick, punch, scream and everything else to get a win. Witt will play the underdog card all week long leading up to the game to his team. This games matters a lot (the most) to them.
