I paid close to $4k for top-of-the-line 75" TV (samsung Q90) in 2020.. I just paid $2k for a mid range 100"
.. Hisense U76 (100".. which i see is now on sale for $1.8k 🙂 ).
The Hisense is thicker (probably since it has handles on the back to lift its 132lb girth) and it's classified as a 'mid-tier' tv, but everybody that has come over to watch it has said its picture quality is better than my 75"

PS. If you are looking for a TV.. Check out the Hisense 100" currently on sale at Costco for $1799.
