...if you have a team that understands floor spacing, quick ball movement and players moving w/o the ball, it's hard for any defense to keep up. Those 3 things are like legs on a stool. It beats dribbling every day of the week but in a pinch at the end of the shot clock where you didn't execute your actions very well or the D just did a good job reading and reacting, you need a guy to go 1 on 1.
