faced with your reality. I can’t really imagine (even with how I’m feeling today) what that kind of loss must feel like. If it helps, I lost my dad when I was little. There is a painful hole that just never quite fills. I’m so deeply grateful for the gospel and the atonement and its promises blessings of healing and eternal families. I hope you get a little more comfort each year, but I think it’s appropriate how much you still miss your son, and it’s certainly a testament to how much you love him and your relationship.
