I'd like to see if we can solve this problem.
Isn't there a grad student(s) who can build a website where we can buy/sell our BYU tickets? They only need build a site for LES and the MC. Then we'd need to hire several more people to work in BYU's ticket office to handle all of the customer issues/complaints.
The cheapest seats to the Utah game have over $100 in total fees per ticket. Stubhub will get more of the sales price than the seller will get. That's greedy.
Thousands of seats trade on Seatgeek and Stubhub each football game. Couldn't we build a site that charged 10% to both the buyer and seller (min charge of $5) and have it still be profitable?
Any coders with any insight? BYU already has their ticket maps built on their normal website. Can't we amend it to allow resales? (note that ticketmaster now lists sales and resales on the same seating map)
