Players have always signed a financial aid document on signing day..
They have just moved some NLI verbiage into the NEW financial aid contracts. Specificly saying "cant be recruited" anymore*.
* schools can still talk to your old HS coaches, uncles, brother, mom.. etc.. who can then whisper in your ear.

Yup.. as of this past October the NLI is dead. However, the new 'financial aid' documents still stop recruiting.
