Man so painful and awful. Feel for these players. It's quite surprising to me
that no enterprising structural knee experts and surgeons have ever gotten together to devise a minimally invasive preventative strengthening procedure to get BEFORE the tear happens. You know, the ounce of prevention. Seems there'd be good money to be made doing that too. Coming from an engineering background myself rather than medical, that's what you'd do with common points of failure. Of course, that's much simpler with a mechanical or electrical system that's human designed and maybe there is no such thing as a knee expert at the level required for such a thing. But it makes one wonder what orthopedic researchers are up to these days if not that.
